Review of UK no credit check credit cards
If you have a bad credit history and a low credit score you
may be denied a myriad of credit
opportunities. Having a bad credit history in
the UK can affect your ability to get mortgage loans, car
loans or even a credit card and whether you have a high
credit score or a low credit score, credit cards are
almost a necessity these days, especially when purchasing
items online. If you plan on buying airplane tickets,
clothing or birthday gifts online you will most likely
need a credit card. If you plan on paying an emergency
bill online you will most likely need a credit card,
particularly if your checking debit card does not have
sufficient funds to make those necessary online purchases.
But what happens if your credit has been affected by a
bankruptcy, insolvency, CCJ or default and you no longer
qualify for a credit card? You might want to
consider a credit card that does not require a credit
check. These
credit cards are
sometimes referred to as secured credit cards and can help
restore your credit score or bad credit history.
Secured credit cards allow you to repair your credit score
in a convenient, discreet way, even if you have a bad credit
history. They act just like a credit card but the line of
credit is from your own monetary deposit. Debit cards are
similar to secured credit cards because they both draw off an
amount of money that has been deposited into a security
account. If you are familiar with using a debit card then you
will understand how secured credit cards work. They work in a
very similar fashion. You can even use direct debit with most
secured credit cards by allowing the lender to take funds from
your checking account each month in order to pay off a predetermined
amount on your bill. You may also find that there are no
fax requirements or unnecessary paperwork jungles to
manipulate in order to apply and most of the time you can
apply online.
A bad credit history does not mean you cannot enjoy the
conveniences of having a credit card. Secured credit cards can
be beneficial towards improving your bad credit history;
however, not all cards are created equal and some are scams.
When using secured cards to correct a damaged credit score, it
is necessary that the lender inform the credit reporting
agencies of your timely payments. Your credit score is not
going to improve if this pertinent information is not being
relayed to the appropriate agency. You credit score is
dependent upon you making sure that your payment information is
being given to the correct credit agency so that your bad
credit history can improve.
Just like a credit card, you can use your secured credit
card to make purchases, while improving your credit score at
the same time. You can use it for shopping online or at most
department stores. Being bankrupt or dealing with insolvency, a
default or CCJ does not mean that you cannot enjoy the benefits
of having a credit card you just have to be on the lookout for
a secured card that fits your needs and will help your credit
score improve.
